Which Duas Can Be Recited When Facing Difficulty or Hardship?
When a believer goes through hardship, stress, or overwhelming situations, Islam teaches us to turn sincerely to Allah and ask Him to make matters easy. These duas were recited by the Prophets and taught in the Sunnah to seek ease, strength, and relief during difficult times.
Duas to make when in Difficulty
‘O Allah, there is no ease except in that which You have made easy, and You make the difficulty, if You wish, easy.’
“I seek Your protection against worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and selfishness, from overwhelming indebtedness and the subjugation of people.”
"Allah, Allah, my Lord, I do not associate anything with Him"
“There is no god but You, exalted are You! Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.”
"Lord, lift up my heart and ease my task for me. Remove the impediment from my tongue so that they may understand my speech."
"Allah is sufficient for me. There is none worthy of worship but Him. I have placed my trust in Him, and He is the lord of the Majestic Throne."
