A Beautiful Country Facing Many Challenges

Floods, droughts, earthquakes, conflicts, and poverty—every year, millions of Pakistanis face these challenges. In a country that hosts 15% of the world’s total Muslim population and is the 5th largest by population, millions are pushed into poverty annually. As a Muslim charity, we aim to help as many Muslim families as possible with your Sadaqah and Zakat, bringing them out of poverty ‘one family at a time’. Since 2010, long before Humanity Care Relief’s inception, our team has been involved in setting up charitable projects in Pakistan. Alhamdulillah, we are blessed to have teams of volunteers in every part of the country. Over the years, we have helped millions of people through food, water, financial support (Zakat), and livelihood projects.

Donate your Sadaqah and Zakat to the Pakistan Appeal and help the victims of poverty and natural disasters.

Help the Widows & Orphans of Pakistan

Among the rich culture and beautiful landscapes, lie stories of resilience and hardship. Widows and orphans, often the most vulnerable in society, bear the brunt of ongoing challenges such as natural disasters, economic instability, and social strife. With millions striving to rebuild their lives, the need for compassion and support has never been greater.

Islam encourages us to take care of widows and orphans.

Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbour, the neighbour farther away, the companion at your side, the traveller, and those whom your right hands possess. Indeed, Allah does not like those who are self-deluding and boastful.

(Quran 4:36)

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also said,

The one who cares for an orphan and I will be together in Paradise like this,” and he held his two fingers together to illustrate.

In line with these teachings, our initiative aims to uplift the lives of widows and orphans across Pakistan ‘one family at a time’. Since our inception, we have been dedicated to providing essential support through Sadaqah and Zakat—offering food, shelter, education, and a pathway to self-sufficiency. Our volunteers, spread across the nation, work tirelessly to reach those in dire need.

Support our Help the Widows & Orphans of Pakistan appeal and light up the lives of the ones in need. Your support will offer hope and a promise of a better tomorrow to the widows and the orphans.

Education: A Key Tool to Alleviate Poverty

Allah سبحانه و تعالى says,

“Read in the name of your Lord who created.”

(Quran, 96:1)

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said,

“Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.”

(Ibn Majah)

These Ayah and Hadith highlight the importance of education in Islam. This is why at HCR, we believe that the best way to lift families out of poverty is through education. Every child has the universal right to education. Through our education projects, we support schools and institutes and fund educational initiatives across Pakistan. To expand and sustain more schools and education projects, we need your ongoing support. Donate your Sadaqah and Zakat to help change lives ‘one child at a time’.

Deaf and Mute School in Azad Kashmir

Education is the right of every child, regardless of their health or abilities. HCR has set up an impactful project in Azad Kashmir where hundreds of deaf and mute children are receiving free education. Often neglected by society, these children risk falling into a cycle of poverty. However, through our initiative, they can acquire skills that promise a more stable future.

All our students, ranging from 3 to 17 years old, are either deaf, mute, mentally challenged, or partially blind. Your donation will support their education, uniforms, books and stationery, school meals, transportation, and much more.

Help give these special needs children the opportunity to fulfil their dreams. Sponsor a deaf and mute child today.

A Sadaqah Jariyah Opportunity Not to be Missed

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,

“When a man dies all his good deeds come to an end except three: Ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge and a righteous son who prays for him.”

Many communities in Pakistan do not have adequate places of worship. HCR aims to provide these communities with places and the tools to worship Allah in a comfortable environment. This is why we want to build Mosques in these communities, support the imams, provide Mushafs for the communities to recite and encourage children to memorise the Quran through our Hifz programme.

All this can only be made possible with your continuous support. Donate your Sadaqah and Zakat and help us fund these projects.

Seven Types of Ongoing Charity After Death

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,

“Seven deeds of a servant continue to be rewarded after his death while he is in his grave: knowledge to be learned, constructing a canal, digging a well, planting a date-palm tree, building a mosque, handing down a written copy of the Quran, and leaving a righteous child who seeks forgiveness for him after his death.”

Help Families Come Out of Poverty

Sometimes, it’s the little things that can lead to big changes. One of the best ways for a woman to earn a living is by starting something from within her four walls, and there’s no better skill than sewing clothes. Through our sewing project, we provide young girls, women, and widows with complete sewing training and then gift them a sewing machine, enabling them to start their own sewing business. While this might not entirely lift them out of poverty, it acts as a catalyst for change. By sewing clothes for others, she could earn enough to support her family and send her children to school rather than to work in a tea stall, local hotel, or garage.

Another great initiative that can lift families out of poverty is buying a rickshaw for a father who cannot afford his own. This gesture ensures that the man receiving the rickshaw won’t need to send his children to work just to cover costs. Rickshaws are in high demand in Pakistan and offer a significant way to support families living in poverty.

Sponsor a sewing machine or a rickshaw and help families rise out of poverty.

Best Charity is Giving Water to Thirsty People

Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah reported: I said,

“O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, my mother has died. Shall I give charity on her behalf?”

The Prophet ﷺ said,

“Yes,”

I said,

“Which charity is best?”

The Prophet said,

“A drink of water.”

Sunan al-Nasā’ī 3664

The best charity is giving water to thirsty people,” a principle that resonates deeply as we witness the water crisis affecting millions in Pakistan. In a country rich in culture and history, the shadows of poverty stretch long, exacerbated by contamination and a dire lack of infrastructure. This reality leaves countless families without access to one of life’s most basic necessities: clean and safe water.

The scarcity of clean water isn’t just about quenching thirst; it’s a matter of health, dignity, and survival. Contaminated water sources lead to a myriad of diseases, further entrenching communities in a cycle of poverty. Children, instead of attending school, embark on perilous journeys daily to fetch water, compromising their safety and future.

Recognising the urgency of this crisis, HCR has dedicated itself to becoming a beacon of hope. By constructing water pumps and wells, we strive to bring forth the ripple effect of clean water. Each well we dig, each pump we install, is more than just a source of water; it’s a foundation for healthier communities, improved education opportunities, and a step towards breaking the vicious cycle of poverty.

Our clean water projects are about empowering communities, enabling them to flourish and redefine their futures. With each drop of clean water provided, we’re not just quenching physical thirst but nurturing the seeds of potential within each individual.

In the heart of this endeavour lies the spirit of charity, a call to action for everyone who believes in making a difference. Your support can turn the tide for families and communities in desperate need. Together, with your generosity, we can continue to build wells and pumps, ensuring that clean water flows freely, touching lives and heralding a new dawn of hope and prosperity in Pakistan. Join us in this vital mission, and let’s transform lives ‘one well at a time.

Health with Dignity

Millions of Pakistanis can’t afford to see a doctor or eye specialist. Through our medical and eye camps, we offer free health and eye care to hundreds, at no cost. Our camps reach villages, towns, and cities, aiding millions who need health advice.

For many disabled Pakistanis, a wheelchair is all they need to move around and connect with society.

By sponsoring a medical camp, you help provide checkups, treatments, and medicines to those in need.

At Humanity Care Relief, we ease the pain and suffering of those who can’t afford basic healthcare. We organize free medical camps across Pakistan, staffed by experienced doctors, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, and medical professionals. We offer checkups, treatments, and even operations in poor areas, all for free.

Your kindness can offer hope and healing.

Pakistan Appeal An Overview

From the projects mentioned above, it’s clear we have a lot happening in Pakistan. Over the past decade, your incredible support has made a big difference. You trusted us and shared our vision, and with your help, we’ve achieved some amazing things. Keep supporting our charity work in Pakistan by donating your Sadaqah and Zakat to the Pakistan Appeal, so we can keep changing lives.

HCR – Help Alleviate Poverty

We are a UK-based international relief and development charity. Inspired by Islamic teachings of empathy, generosity, and selflessness, we focus on alleviating poverty and suffering across the world. We operate a 100% Zakat Policy, which means every single penny of your Zakat will go to the victims of poverty, wars, and natural disasters.

Before you support our Food Appeal, Water Appeal, Gaza Emergency Appeal, Syria Emergency Appeal, Yemen Emergency Appeal, Pakistan Appeal, or any Emergency Appeal, remember to make the intention that you are donating for the sake of Allah first and helping your fellow Muslim brothers and sisters second. This is very important because as Muslims, whatever act of worship we do, we do it for the sake of Allah.

Along with our emergency appeals, we are working on some amazing projects which will, Insha’Allah, bring prosperity to many Muslim homes from around the world. Donate your Sadaqah and Zakat to our projects like Build a Masjid, Livelihoods for the Poor, Sponsor a Widow, Sponsor an Orphan, Sponsor a Nikah, Donate a Sewing Machine, or help educate the Ummah by donating towards education projects, Sponsoring a Hafiz, Sponsoring a Child in Education, or supporting young people in university and Islamic education. Donate with confidence, Insha’Allah, every penny of your donation is your Amanah, and we will try our best to spend it on people who are in need.

Every year, we as Muslims celebrate two seasons the most: one, Ramadan, and two, the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah. During these blessed days, we put all our efforts into pleasing Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى by performing good deeds. Here at HCR, we provide you with the platform to perform an important act of worship: charity. In Ramadan, you can donate to the Ramadan Food Appeal, and Ramadan Zakat Appeal, Donate Your Fidyah, Donate Your Fitrana, and Pay Your Kaffarah for Breaking Oath or Breaking Fast, especially during the blessed nights of Laylatul Qadr. In Dhul Hijjah, we are here to help fulfil your duty of performing Qurbani. Whichever cause you choose, choose it with confidence. Insha’Allah.
