These Ayah and Hadith highlight the importance of education in Islam. This is why at HCR, we believe that the best way to lift families out of poverty is through education. Every child has the universal right to education. Through our education projects, we support schools and institutes and fund educational initiatives across Pakistan. Many children in Pakistan never experience a day in school, while others are forced to leave due to overcrowding, poverty, or gender disparities. Even in regions where education is accessible, socio-economic divides play a significant role in educational outcomes, with a clear connection between limited literacy, lower income, and unemployment. Numerous obstacles can impede the path to education. Yet, the desire to learn is a common thread binding children across Pakistan. They recognise education as the gateway to endless opportunities.
